It is strongly recommended that even before the decision to get married is made, that a couple seriously consider premarital counseling sessions to get unbiased and objective feedback on whether or not they are suitable and compatible partners in their core values and temperaments, in addition to being mature enough and ready for the commitment of marriage. 

Please keep in mind that the present divorce rate is one divorce for every 2 marriages. To put it another way, half of all couples who decide to marry will end up in divorce 3 to 5 years after the wedding. 

To put it quite bluntly, if you think that “we are different,” and that “we have found true love.” Think again! Everyone starts off that way.
